Mitch Sickon, Esq.


Mitch conducts investigations throughout Michigan involving student, employee, and workplace matters. With a background in education law, civil rights litigation, family law, and child advocacy, he brings a thoughtful, balanced approach to complex and sensitive investigations.

Early in his career, Mitch represented families in legal aid matters and served as a guardian ad litem for children in abuse and neglect cases. He later spent seven years at Disability Rights Michigan, advocating for students with disabilities in administrative proceedings and federal courts, where he developed extensive experience evaluating evidence, analyzing complex factual records, and navigating high-stakes disputes. His work also includes probate litigation and special education consulting.

Drawing on decades of experience advocating for vulnerable individuals, Mitch is committed to conducting fair, impartial, and well-supported investigations that help organizations address challenging issues with integrity, professionalism, and confidence.
